21 year old man strapped to gurney at Akron City Hospital while a doctor used syringe to get blood and a nurse inserted a catheter into his penis to get urine.

Mr. Straton Kephart, 21, wrecked his car and was transported to Akron City Hospital. No other vehicles were involved. He was not at the hospital for medical treatment but merely went in the ambulance to accompany his passenger.

It is alleged in a lawsuit filed this week that Mr. Kephart was pushed onto a gurney by a hospital security guard and immobilized with restraints while a doctor took blood from him via a syringe.  Also, a nurse inserted a catheter into his penis to drain urine from his bladder for the police officers. Also, Kephart alleges he was denied the opportunity to speak to a lawyer before being forcibly restrained.
